The product has a pretty solid profile and is priced reasonably. It's definitely a cheaper alternative to Muscle Milk, although I though the chocolate flavor was pretty bad. It has an odd flavor. Optimum's chocolate is 100% better tasting as well as much cheaper. I'm normally not one to gripe over flavors, but I thought the taste was disappointing. Maybe the other flavors are better. I use 6-10 scoops per day, so as much as I don't want to admit it, the taste has become somewhat of a factor for me. The very best tasting stuff is the Beverly International line, although it's very expensive, but the quality cannot be questioned. This product or Optimum's 100% Whey make solid low cost protein products though. |
